TehranTimes – TEHRAN,  Iran national football team head coach Amir Ghalenoei announced a 27-member squad for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.

The tournament kicks off in Doha on Jan. 12, 2024, with the tournament’s final set to be played on Feb. 10, 2024.

Team Melli have been drawn in Group C along with the UAE, Palestine and Hong Kong.

Amir Ghalenoei’s side will play Burkina Faso in a friendly match on Jan. 5 at the Kish Island in Persian Gulf.
