Persianfootball.com – ULSAN, The Korea Football Association is expected to submit 4000 tickets to its counterpart the Iranian Football Federation while it is anticipated that only 1500 Iranian fans may be present at Ulsan Stadium to watch the final Team Melli World Cup qualifier in group A against S Korea on June 18.
The Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) has reported that Ulsan stadium with capacity of 44,466 will host the most sensitive World Cup Asia qualifier match between S. Korea and Iran on Tuesday.
The Ulsan Stadium built in 2001 after spending three years with 116.5 million is made up of three floors and is one of the most modern stadiums in South Korea to host important World Cup 2002 matches.
However, the cultural deputy of the Iranian Football Federation told ISNA that they predict 1000 to 1500 Iranian fans to be present in the stadium for the game.
In addition to free ticket, the Iranian Football Federation will give cultural items, ranging from jerseys, flags and scarves to Iranian fans that come to Ulsan stadium to cheer and support Team Melli.
