Tasnim – RASHT, Former Iran and Persepolis midfielder Ali Karimi has reached an agreement to take charge of Sepidrood on Monday.

The 39-year-old coach, who parted company with Naft Tehran in September, will be introduced as new head coach of Iran top-flight team soon.

Karimi replaces Omid Ravankhah who stepped down from his role on Dec. 21.

Sepidrood Rasht sits 13th in Iran 16-team league, just three points above the relegation zone.

Sepidrood is a debutant in the PGPL after won promotion in May 2017.
