Tehran Times – TEHRAN, Sepahan football club head coach Igor Stimac stated that he is looking forward to meet his compatriot Branko Ivankovic in the upcoming game in the Iran Professional League in front of more than 80,000 spectators at Tehran’s Azadi stadium.

Former Croatia national team head coach, who joined Sepahan in November, talked about his life in Iran in an interview with Vecernji.hr.

“Isfahan is a beautiful city with fantastic people but horrifying traffics. Sepahan is the most successful club in IPL history so I’m under pressure to win every game,” Stimac said.

“There are 15 Croatian coaches working in Iran most notably Dragan Skocic and Branko Ivankovic. I have a very good relation with Branko as we often talk about the games. Our next game is against Persepolis and I’m looking forward to meet Branko in front of 80,000 fans at Tehran’s Azadi stadium,” Stimac added.
