Persepolis dramatically advance to ACL semis after beating Al Duhail [VIDEO]

Tehran Times – TEHRAN,  Persepolis football team from Iran came from behind to beat Al Duhail of Qatar 3-1 in the second leg of the AFC Champions League quarter-finals on Monday.

In the match held in Tehran’s 80,000-seater Azadi Stadium, the Reds showed a remarkable performance against one the best Asian teams, sealing a 3-2 aggregate.

Captain Karim Boudiaf gave the visitors the lead in the 33rd minute following a set-piece situation.

Persepolis returned to the match in the 57th minute after Jalal Hosseini left footed shot from the center of the box went to the top left corner.
