Zobahan tops ACL group with 3-0 victory over Saudi’s Al-Nassr [VIDEO]

Loading...PressTV – MUSCAT, In the 2016 AFC Champions League, Iran’s Zobahan have registered a 3-0 victory over Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr in Muscat to finish top in Group B.
Ehsan Pahlavan and Masoud Hassanzadeh gave Yahya Golmohammadi’s men a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first half after scoring in the 30th and 41st minutes respectively.
Al Nassr goalkeeper Hussain Shaian was then sent off just ahead of the hour mark after he handled the ball outside of the penalty box.
Zobahan continued to control the game and they completed their win with three minutes remaining, when Hashem Beikzadeh cut in from the left before sliding his shot beyond substitute goalkeeper Muteb Sharahili to make it 3-0 for his team.
With the victory, the Iranian side will now play Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates in the Round of 16, with the Emirates hosting the first leg on May 17th.
