Persianfootball.com – LONDON, Reza Ghoochannejhad came on as substitute in Charlton Athletic’s 4-1 Capital One Cup win on Tuesday and managed to score his first goal in his first appearance after the recent return to England.

The Iranian international striker came on in second half against fourth league team Dagenham & Redbridge and added Charlton’s fourth and final goal when he beat the offside to get to the end of Ba’s chip over the defense and kept his calm in front of goal.

Ghoochannejhad had joined Charlton in January 2014 after an unsuccessful stint with Standard Liege, but joined Kuwait SC and later Al Wakrah on loan for the 2014/15 season. With his former coach at Standard, Israeli Guy Luzon, now in charge of Charlton, his future with Charlton is still in doubt though.
