Persianfootball.com – VIGO, The talented and versatile attacker who rose through the Borussia Monchengladbach youth system made his La Liga debut with Celta Vigo earlier this month.

Dennis Eckert, a young and exciting prospect, was born in Bonn, Germany, to a Spanish Mother, and a Father with Iranian roots. According to sources close to the player, he also has some command of Persian.

Dennis started his football in Germany, rising through the youth squads of Borussia Monchengladbach, Aachen, and Cologne. He also featured for the Germany U19 National Team. He recently made the move to Spain in the summer of 2017, joining Celta Vigo B.

Having impressed with the B squad, Dennis made his La Liga debut with the senior team earlier this month as a 90th minute substitution versus Espanyol. He featured as a late substitute again during their 2-1 away win against Levante UD last weekend.

According to Dennis’s Social Media pages, he proudly states his Iranian roots. It remains to be seen if he will attract the attention of the Team Melli scouts and staff, and whether he has interest in donning the Iran jersey someday.
