Are you the webmaster? So unprofessional. I’ve been on this forum since 2004, and have talked about team melli the whole time. I oppose the regime but you didn’t see me talk about it here obviously because this is a football forum lol. I talk about it in plenty of other places that are for political conversation. I don’t understand this insistence on mixing politics and sports.

Iranians should be able to take pride in certain parts of their national identity, especially things like sports. Handing over things like the national soccer team to the regime is a mistake. Not everything that belongs to Iran belongs to the government. Some things should remain ours, and Team Melli is one of them.

By giving the regime the national soccer team, YOU are actually supporting the regime.

^ here you cannot support the killers of Iranians and yes I have and am still paying for you to come here and post but I say who is welcome or not and which posts to allow here.

You are warned now and next time you address me like this, you will be banned permanently so learn to respect the rules in a completely free website or go to a more professional website from now on.

The regime which has all this money and your support, has not created another PFDC so go complain to the IR instead.

What do you mean "give it to the regime" ?

Wake up, the monkey anti iranian regime TOOK it from us just like they fucking took everything else from us, they handpicked a bunch of IRGC traitor puppets so they can whitewash the regime on the world stage.

In a normal country 80% of these garbage players would be in the trashcan, do you know why they are not? Because they are regime supporters and therefore handpicked by the regime for their propaganda, is that math so hard for some of you to understand?

That olagh Taremi sitting and saying that " ekhtelaf to hame keshvarha hast va pish miad, va in normale"

Martike is gaslighting that the IRGC massacred his hamvatans in the tens of thousands, koja donya in normale?? To hire foreign shiite proxies to murder your people with warbullets.

Ma irania enghadr khar hastim ke bekhatere "pride" be khodemon mirinim.

Thats why our country has been a pure shithole since 1979 starting with the namaknashnasi of the olagh generation of 57.

FOR THE LAST FUCKING TIME. THE REGIME ALREADY TOOK THE FOOTBALL TEAM. WE CAN TAKE IT BACK BY CHANGING THE FUCKING REGIME. NOT BY CHEERING THE REGIME FLAG.

SUPPORTING THIS TEAM DOES NOT MAKE IT OURS. THAT IS NOT LOGICAL

This is almost the same roster as the last two world cups, when almost everyone on this forum was supporting the team. The players haven’t changed.

What’s changed is people declaring the national team is yet one more thing that belongs to the regime and cannot be a source of national pride. I swear some people won’t be satisfied until the regime takes every last thing that once belonged to Iranians. I don’t get this level of support for the regime from some of you.

This is quite a warped view. The reason TM never accomplishes anything is by design. The IR regime provides just enough support that we qualify, but has purposely hamstrung the team to never accomplish any success. This is all by design to participate and get their propaganda out there (Fox News, CNN, etc. all crying for poor regime having to take a bus from Mexico, etc.). They then lose, nobody in Iran has any hope, and all the "fans" hoping this team will do anything sit with your thumbs in your butts questioning what happened. Have none of you learned this by now? TM is built to be an also ran. Show up and play some weak football then go home.

Do none of you get tired from supporting a team the regime is probably laughing at you for supporting? They don't want TM to do well. They are against all arts, culture, etc. Sport is just a means to whitewash themselves, always has been. Just like Saudis don't care about WWE, Formula 1, football, etc. It's all a means to an end to project what they want to the world. Iran loves to do just well enough to say "we are an Asian giant of football!" but have absolutely nothing to show for it. The people in Iran were getting a little too happy when we got close to success, so they made sure to kill that enjoyment. Can't have the Iranian population feeling any kind of hope, that's dangerous for the maymoon's in charge.

Come on man… I’m not a fan of the regime either but please do your research before posting this kind of propaganda fake news shit. You may hate him, especially after his celebration but this is fake

Is Team Melli used by the regime for propaganda and legitimacy? Of course. The regime uses anything popular in Iran for that purpose. Cinema, wrestling, science, culture, national celebrations.

If your standard is that anything the regime tries to exploit must be abandoned, then you’re essentially helping the regime claim ownership over every source of Iranian identity and pride. I’d rather do the opposite.
