Reza Pahlavi has had 45 years since the revolution to build something real. A movement, a coalition, a credible alternative. Instead he’s given us press conferences, book tours, and photo ops with foreign officials who don’t actually back him. The man is a brand, not a leader.

His entire pitch is genealogy. That’s it. That’s the platform. “My father built modern Iran” as if bloodline is a policy position. As if being born into the right family is a qualification for anything other than a trust fund.

And the diaspora keeps falling for it because grief is powerful. People miss what Iran was, or what they imagine it was, and Reza is a living symbol of that. But nostalgia isn’t a political program. You can’t Instagram your way to liberating 90 million people.

Meanwhile the Iranians actually risking their lives inside the country, the workers, the teachers, the women leading the streets, they’re not waiting for a prince to fly in and claim his throne. Treating Pahlavi as the default opposition leader isn’t supporting the Iranian people. It’s sidelining them.

Ive been part of this community for well over 15 years. I've never seen so much animosity towards the team. I get it though. A lot of the pahlavi supporters view this team as the IRGC team and a lot of people on the other side just wanna see TM do well. Having read over the past few posts its pretty obvious you guys wont change each others minds and fighting isn't going to do anything. Personally I'm not a pahlavi supporter and i don't support war but i absolutely want this regime gone for all that its done. And before anyone calls me a khamenei support or IRGC supporter simply because I'm against war understand that for many of us that know how trump thinks knew that this war was never about regime change. It was always about a nuclear deal. Its pretty fair to say the regime didnt change (despite trump claiming it did) and if anything its now more hardline because of this war. This is why a lot of us didnt want war because we knew end of the day there was never going to be a regime change as a result. I do sympathize with the pahlavi supporters in terms of thinking that war is the only solution to defeat the IRGC and install pahlavi but you guys cant attack others for not supporting your pathway to a regime change. I don't sit here and attack pahlavi supporters for wanting war or pahlavi as the next leader despite not being in agreement with it because at the end of the day i know that we both want the same thing which is regime cahnge. He also said multiply times that he has no problem with people that does not want to vote for him in a free election because its their democratic right to vote against him and vote for whoever they want and that he is willing to work whit ANYBODY from all different political orientations as long as they are anti I.R and wants a free democratic election to decide Irans future.

I come from a religious family with parents who loved reza shah and mohammad reza shah for all that he did for iran so i dont have anything personal against pahlavi. I genuinely only care about Iran becoming a free secular democracy (fuck a monarchy) like you said and if he can somehow manage to come in and do that than I'm all for it. When i say I'm not a pahlavi supporter it doesnt mean that i have a problem with him if he is a transitional leader. My first issue with pahlavi is not him personally its his supporters being extremists to the point they attack anyone that disagrees with them (and you guys cant deny the fact that a lot of pahlavi supports attack anyone that disagree with them). The second issue i have with pahlavi is that if he truly cared about a regime change in iran than why hasnt he for 40+ years set up networks in iran to help him do so? He's got a great relationship with israel. Why hasnt he used the mossad(which is super infiltrated in iran) to help him set up networks? his only path to becoming a transitional leader in Iran is relying on USA to start a war with the hope that maybe just maybe the regime will somehow abandon their positions (which IRGC would never do since they are desperate to stay in power). However, just bombing iran without a full on invasion is never going to collapse the current regime and every other US president knew that which is why did never attacked iran. You dont think usa would prefer a pro-usa/israel government in place in iran? of course they do but without a full invasion that would never happen and usa will never do that considering how difficult that would be. So relying on USA to simply bomb iran as a pathway for pahlavi to become a transitional leader was never going to lead to a realistic result (especially since trumps objective was never ever regime change). The one thing he have done non stop for 40+ years is to build a opposition to topple Irans occupiers, the evidence is out there on the record.

He himself have criticized those extremist monarchist and i dont like them either, but it is a BIG difference when Pahlavi supporters criticize people who have zero alternatives but still works against a FREE DEMOCRATIC ELECTION because of their stupid oghde and extremist monarchist who tells everybody who dont want to restore the monarchy to shut up.
