To hitch your wagon to this blood sucking regime and representing that crest is pretty asinine. The guy already has a professional career in Europe. Most kids in Iran who do this is for self preservation and a hope of being discovered by foreign clubs.

his dad flew to Iran in January - took a dna test in Iran, he also hired an Iranian pt in march this month , had his team mates comment on his instagram about Iran and spent time hanging out with sayadmanesh and jahanbaksh I don’t think he’s done all this to then opt out for moral reasons . Especially the effort his father took for all the dna tests - his father himself only got an Iranian passport in January to fly there . He also has his wife’s pregnancy so most likely this World Cup is his last chance to showcase himself and get his final big move - playing at the Asian cup most likely opens up doors to the East Asian leagues which pay better than Belgium too .

We have no players upfront that are scoring consistently - heck most of this team isnt going to even be playing consistent football till the World Cup as our league is postponed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with people of minimal ancestry using their ties to get into national teams and advancing their own careers.
