Mehdi Taremi @ Inter Milan Season 2024/2025

Mehdi was excellent tonight. But honestly, should we be surprised?

CQ believed in him early on, when a lot of people didn’t. He dominated the Portuguese league, been historically excellent during champion’s league, and even played well in the last world cup.

It’s one thing if outsiders think Mehdi “sucks” cuz of this season. But as iranian fans, with his overall body of work, we should know better…

High footballing IQ, very coachable, high work-rate, and selfless. Obviously, his injury had been hindering his performances until now, plus, when inter as a team play well, surprise surprise, mehdi plays well too.

This is truly a historical achievement for iranian football, so proud of him.

Too many here discount the severity of the injury he's been dealing with for months now ..!
before injury he played damn good football, " bit too selfless and lacking confidence in front of the goal occasionally" was the only legitimate complaint..! which is understandable considering his role in this team and the main role he was hired for..!
in the Preseason he also proved that he can also bang em in regularly if serviced with regularity and if he was the Main Focal point of inter's attack..!
fact is he was brought on to play the complementary role and he played that role to near perfection until the injury and after the recovery..!


tamaame bazikonaye gableeye eeronie ham halaa bayad beran jolosh boogh bezanan...!! as far as im concerned he just surpassed the accomplishments of them all and now has a chance to leave No doubts on that front with similarly sound performance in the Final hopefully ..!

he defo has lost a step or 2 in the last couple of years but he is still a high caliber, extremely Versatile and formidable international footballer..!!

Finally proud of him. A non PK goal would have been nice (hopefully not against PSG if they reach the final lol) but he did a good job. That's better than some of our players doing circles in UAE and thinking they are good.

Taremi performed much better than many games I saw recently from him. We are just lucky to have him.

Assisting in the Champions league semi is just amazing for us and himself as well as it is quite an achievement. I hope this will give him more confidence and he becomes the player we all know he is again.

no doubt SC would pounce on him if Inter are foolish enough to release him this summer on the free ..!
himself already has made clear his desires to stay at inter and if not he wants to stay in Serie A, and im certain he can easily land on another top ten serie A club as a free agent..!!

if inter insist on making $$$s of his transfer then its gonna be very difficult to find him another decent EU club suitor..!!

for time being i still firmly believe he will be a Inter player next season too..! and he only going to ensure of that in the remaining of the season..!

I hope Arsenal advances, they're a better match-up for Inter than PSG. And Inter already beat Arsenal 1-0 in the first stage of the CL this year (via a PK that Mehdi won).
