kind stupid sub imo , considering the game situation..! could well come back to bite them in that azzz..?
he was still pressing and pressuring the lazio backline to a great extent and keeping them in check with his usual defensive posturing and positioning..!
unfortunately had a couple of bad touches that killed off a counter at start of 2nd half that probably contributed massively to inzaghi's decision to yank him..!! :/
Dimarco sprinted himself into a corner then played it to nobody, screams at the bench and then Taremi subbed instantly. Such a bizarre thing to watch, you usually don’t want your Striker running wide like that.

Yup. But he did recover that ball well defensively.
Didn't look quite himself today but there are 2 more important games left.
he always seems to stumble when he's trying to make a 1/2 like he did when he's full stretch
I think the groin muscle still is hurting him.
The problem is he can't seem to steal the ball like he use to or aggressively close down with speed. which still suggest the groin is their haunting him
Yes, Inter is a top team in the world, but I am not a fan of their overall gameplay. I honestly wouldn’t watch them if one of our players didn’t play for him.
It was frustrating watching them on many passing sequences. There seems to be an overall reluctance to play simple quick selfless progressive football. Too many times their players hold onto the ball too long.
Hence, why Taremi hardly gets the ball, and when he does, the passes are delayed, without conviction, or awkward, so he’s not able to receive it well.
Seems as if was playing as a foil for others around him. Occupy the defenders and then free up space for other attackers.
Stats back that up, lowest amount of touches and passes of anyone for Inter when on the pitch but won the most amount of duels with 9 out of any player on the pitch.
