with Mehdi entering the match in 2nd they finally had a guy who cleverly positioned himself well and closed down passing lanes from CM area especially towards yamal wing which was a biggest issue for inter in 1st half. Provided a steady outlet in middle of the pitch for under pressure D, held the ball up well, combined pretty decent and was damn good in transition play...!!
i think in a couple of more weeks when he hopefully recovers fully from his latest injury set back and gain some confidence back he will become even a bigger force to be reckon with ..!? that is if he doesnt re-aggravate his injury..!!?

Looks like some of you are back for our boy! Just enjoy the ride for the time being and don't be too critical. The fact that he played a full 45 minutes says a lot about his role with the team. He may not have scored the goals this season, be he has DEFINITELY contributed to the wins. Lets enjoy this and hope for a trophy.Comment

Lautaro injury needs 10-15 days. He is likely out of the second leg next week. Guys we’re gonna see Taremi starting against Barca in the second leg of a UCL semis. Is this a dream???? I’m hoping our boy doesn’t feature heavily in this weekends Serie A match so he can be fully fit for Tuesday.Comment

most of all let's hope barca adapt a similarly highl line and attacking strategy in the return match ... and leave themselves prone to counters ..! or it will be hard for Inter to score from run of play even with a healthy Lauti..!!

Taremi was good yesterday. Pretty much mistake-free, good touches, efficient, played with high IQ, and had two switches that were great as a striker. I still wish his teammates would look for him more. I remember one sequence he was lurking in the box, but he got the ball a bit late and couldn’t get the shot off.
They don’t seem to be decisive and quick in getting the ball to him, almost like he’s a last resort for a passing outlet. But overall, I give the team a pass since they played against an elite opponent with only 30% possession. This was Inter’s best game in a long time.
I think Inzaghi will start Taremi in the 2nd leg.Comment
