Dejagah1PFDC – WOLFSBURG, Possible future Team Melli player Ashkan Dejagah looked like having helped Vfl Wolfsburg to a draw against Hertha Berlin in German Bundesliga on Saturday, but a late goal decided the game in the visitors’ favour.

Hertha went in front after 27 minutes, but just four minutes later Mandzukic inscened Dejagah on the left wing with the Tehran born forward keeping his cool against the advancing keeper and laying the ball square for the Croatian, who tapped it into the open net.

However, just six minutes afterwards Hertha restored the lead from the penalty spot.

An indirect freekick levelled the game again six minutes from time when Korean substitute forward Koo tipped the ball to Dejagah, who cleverly let the ball run through his legs to Schaefer, who hammered the ball into the goal.

However, just 100 seconds later Dejagah failed to control a poor clearance from Japanese international Hasebe and lost possession. Greek international defender Kyrgiakos failed to collect the following cross from the left side and Hertha’s Lasogga converted with ease.

Dejagah almost assisted a late equalizer when he took a run over the right side and centered the ball, but striker Lakic’s effort from inside the area was collected by the keeper.

Wolfsburg are now 11th in the table. Dejagah scored two goals and assisted three in seven appearances this season.
