SC will certainly be pissed about it and will try to block the move but Porto mgmt will find it very hard to resist declining any offer in regions of $25mil for him at this juncture..!! and read some rumors that they are still a bit in the hole financially need to generate more income from transfers..!!?

read that Auba being 33 is only been offered a 1 year contract (band aid fix) by chelsea and he wants longer 2+...!! if no progress on Mehdi's move today ... they are likely to come to term with auba..!!

Porto will not sell Mehdi for any less than his release clause (which is quite high at about 60M, if I recall correctly). They will make much more money with Taremi at Porto (winning Liga Nos, Cups, CL matches, etc), than selling him for a meager 20M or so.
