This clip warmed my heart. This gentleman was blinded in an accident and the clip is about a new accessibility broadcast that explains the details so that a blind person could be in touch with what is going on in the match. They started this in the Feb 11th match vs Sporting. See 4:51 into the clip how he gets that Mehdi scored the equalizer with his amazing header and this gentleman repeats Taremi's name. Mehdi makes many people happy with his amazing performance.

    Go Mehdi!

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Of course, it would also be great if they go far in the EL too and incredible if they would win that title (but less likely than winning the title in the Portuguese league).

Taremi should stay far away from England, and pursue Italy / Spain if he wants to leave Portugal

Was thinking earlier , potentially Wolves with the Portuguese connection . Jimenez has been dropped to the bench last couple of games too and they haven’t been impressed with his play.

Taremi prefers titles to financial jackpot: rejected Premier League to stay at FC Porto

Economic independence made Iranians ignore polls of clubs in the second half of the Premier League table in both market windows

Catapulted last season by the dragons to the spotlight of European football, the Iranian, knows THE GAME, received polls from clubs in the second half of the Premier League table during the summer and January market, but chose to ignore them. Even knowing that an eventual move to England would bring him an economic jackpot.

The financial independence he secured while still in Iran, however, allows him to be judicious in his career path. And Mehdi is at a stage where he values winning titles and assiduous presence in the main European competitions more than joining a top league team that only plays for the middle of the table or, worse still, not to go down.

At Dragon, Taremi knows that he has all the conditions in place to achieve these goals without in the least pinching the popularity he enjoys in Iran. At least as long as he continues to produce. And in the last few weeks, by the way, he's been doing the most. In the last four games he has always taken decisive action - he has 29 this season, six less than in 2020/21 -, and in two he was able to combine a goal with an assist.

The derby against Sporting, in Alvalade, was just the latest example of Taremi's influence on FC Porto's offensive performance, which saw him fully assume the role that Luis Díaz left with his departure for Liverpool. Interestingly, he did so after a rare spell on the bench, to which a period of some turmoil contributed, motivated by a misunderstanding with the Iranian coach, Dragan Skocic.

On the rise again, Mehdi looks to the future and feels he is closer than ever to achieving the titles he wants. Going out just for money, no.

According to the Portuguese article, the offers were from lower half teams.
