    I don't agree. I don't think this Porto team could win regularly against that Osasuna team. Osasuna with Javad at his prime would be a top 3 team in Liga Nos right now. League standards are much higher in Spain than Portugal. Just look at how much match wasting and poor referee decisions impact Liga Nos this season alone!

      Well look at La liga team results in champions league. Sevilla (#2 in la liga) failed to advance from possibly the easiest group in champions league. While benefica and sporting lisbon advanced from their groups and I think porto was unlucky to lose against atletico madrid.


      Porto is well above osasuna. Sure this doesn't mean that they would win 100% but i say they win 8 out of 10 matches against osasuna prime time (porto team right now).

        Not that this should end the arguments about La Liga and Liga Nos since this is a free forum and people could argue "until hell freezes over". Anyways, UEFA country association club coefficients ranking https://www.uefa.com/nationalassocia...ntry/#/yr/2022 is in in this order: England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal. UEFA club coefficient ranking https://www.uefa.com/nationalassocia...club/#/yr/2022 has Porto as 16th and Rio Ave as 127th. Osasuna is not ranked.

          Keeping mind we aren't comparing teams now. It's Mehdis team mow versus Javads team then. These discussions are subjective. Liga Nos right now may be doing better than LA Liga...not following LA Liga much so I can't say...but what I've seen of Liga Nos this year and following LA Liga of Javads era...cannot compare.

                We are comparing osasuna when javad played in (2006 to 2012) and porto fc that mehdi plays in. Osasuna has never been better than porto even during their prime time. Porto is head and shoulder above osasuna, porto is well respect european club and osasuna is not even considered a good team in la liga nevermind the europe or champions league.

                Ps I don't even know why i'm argueing about something so obvious!

                  They should give all the awards to Mehdi Taremi, he's their best player by far.

                                He just keeps getting better and better, I honestly think he hasn't even hit his prime yet. He has A LOT of potential, and can only get better given how good his fitness is. I think he will stay at a top level for years to come. He has come such a long way since the days he was playing CF at Perspolis, he is so much more versatile now thanks to Porto and Carlos
