Team melli IRGC khayemal have already started their propaganda, they wore a pin with 168 on their coats refering to the minab school victims.

But to play for the flag that massacred their hamvatans in the tens of thousands is "halal" tho.

Again, F this team, its staff and that shit flag

You are a very toxic person. So many days have passed, and you’re still venting your frustration in a football forum and acting like an extremist.

And i dont give a f what you think about me dear Jupiter.

Rather be "toxic" than have my head in the sand and living in denial just to give myself alibi to watch these filths and garbage players kick a ball in a WC and sucking up for a flag that murdered my people like never before a couple of months ago.

You guys didn't answer my question about ARJ. How do we deal with him? I thought he has been an upright Persian and represented us well, both on and off the pitch for many years. Besides his football prowess declining, I'm talking about him as a whole. So I'm just curious what the take on someone like him is on this team.

Everyone on this shit team are regime khayemals, some of them more some of them less, ARJ included.

Thats why these senior citizen puppet players are on this team.

In a normal country 80% of this team would been in the garbage can 2 years ago.

They are not picked based on football skills, age and fitness, they are picked based on amame lis zadan.

i think he is not TM material anymore. Like Beravand, Shoja, Hajsafi.

Alipour and Moghanlou will never be lol

I guess you are in the wrong thread. Please stop calling people toxic because he and many others dont like this team and you have no right to do that as he did not insult you.

So like you who praise this team every chance you get, he has the right to hate on them.

                  I'll take this...

Persian is a rich language and has a particular word for his kind. ARJ is a classic Dodoozeh. He is in it for himself and himself only. He gives all the signals that the regime wants, but does so discreet enough not to raise too much wrath of the opposition.

Over the years he has sent enough congratulations and condolences to keep himself ingratiates enough to be invited to TM when in bad form/injured or even without a team (twice). On the other hand, he posts occasional hamdardi posts to look like a man of the people.

A good example is when he went with Taremi to get his padash from an aghazafeh after WC2022 ...Taremi got all the flack and ARJ went under the radar.

ARJ is symbol of the bigger problem we have...not the small number of regime hardcores but the much larger number of collaborators who work for themselves with the regime and prolong its survival.

Why is ARJ on the team? Only one reason. Collaborator.

hey! to everyone who thinks team melli should be banned - or who thinks that team melli should have boycotted and stood up for the people, I have a question: if you were one of the players, would you sacrifice your career, assets in iran, and the safety of your family who live in iran by publicly boycotting and using your celebrity to attack the regime?

^ no but why would they praise the regime? They could be quiet and only play football but when they all go to gatherings with hezbollah and hashdol shabi flags and praise the same regime that killed thousands of their people, it changes everything.

which of the players praised the regime? maybe a handful? Certainly no more than that.

let's assume 10-15% of the population in iran support the regime or are at least sympathetic to it...wouldn't it make sense that the team would reflect the population and that some minority percentage of the players would have this view?

and would this handful of regime-sympathetic players be reason for the WHOLE team to receive hatred, and the kind of extreme fohsh khahar madar that's become commonplace on twitter and social team? or for the WHOLE team to be branded as a mouthpiece for the regime?

more importantly, and sadly, what this blind hatred towards Team Melli shows is how undemocratic the Iranian mindset can be. We say we want a democratic future for iran, yet anyone who doesn't share our views is not just criticized, but faced with extreme attacks and death threats etc.

newsflash: a democratic iran means that iranians have to tolerate those with opposing views and find a way to work with them.

iranians who attack team melli are missing the plot. it's not productive, it's just divisive. it's not where our energies should be directed.

these kids have spent every waking hour since they were 10 years old focused on 1) eating 2) sleeping 3) football. They're not political figures, and any views they have are probably shallow anyway.

what made me fall in love with team melli was that it was a neutral platform to celebrate my heritage, free of all the stain and shame of IR and negative PR around Iran. I think it's been exactly that for many of us, especially those in the diaspora. And now they're trying to even take that from us.

^ football is never more important than lives. I loved the team more than many of you, look at this site. What is it called?? But we must draw the line sometimes. and the line was drawn when Iraqis, Afghanies or etc, come to Iran and threthen our people yet the IR pays them, changes this love to a waste of time.

And there are more than a handful. All of this team including the coach support the IR which changed everything even for a die hard fan like me.

This team is not MELLI anymore. This is an Islamc republic team and should not be loved anymore. you can go watch them if you bought tickets, I will but I will take my voice with me not for the players to hear me, I want the world to know that enough is enough.

I'm genuinely trying to understand: what makes this the IR's team? Outside of several players being pro-regime, what expectation did you have of the team that wasn't met?

Do you think it's justified for Iranians in LA to show up to the stadium just to attack the team?

Also, wasn't the photo of roozbeh cheshmi "bowing" to Raisi completely debunked once video came out showing that the guy was just trying to sit down (and wasn't bowing)? This photo was one of the main things that pissed people off
