There is literally no confirmation that the school was hit by US/Israel. There is speculation that the building used to be a school, but no longer was. Other speculation is that it was an errant misfile fired by IRGC. Are we really at a stage where we trust what IR is saying?

The US/Israeli were so precise in their attacks that they were able to take khamenei and many of the others out without collateral damage, but we are to believe that this one missile went rogue? Or they are so callous that they decided to hit a school on purpose and further alienate all the anti war people in the west? The math isn’t mathing.

My main issue is that this happened very early in the conflict, during the leadership decapitation phase, and it’s already been reported that the building was struck by a missile launched from a US ship. From what I’ve read, satellite tracking is advanced enough now that they can pinpoint missile launches and even drones with a fair bit of confidence. They were able to do something similar with that drone Iran supposedly launched toward Cyprus that later turned out to have originated somewhere else.

Also, the “pinpoint accuracy” argument kinda weak when you consider that three of their own jets were shot down either by their own defenses or by Kuwaiti systems using similar tech. Not to mention the numerous times the Israelis blamed human error on school or hospital bombings in Gaza. All I’m saying is none of this exactly scream perfect battlespace awareness.

So while I agree there’s a lot of speculation out there, I’m not totally convinced everything was as clean and controlled as it’s being presented either

The NY Times says that the building was likely hit by a precision air strike; they thought this was part of the complex. It has a close-up map and everything.
It's very obvious what happened here; it's just stupid and reckless to turn a section of a military complex into a school and just put a wall there, but they took this out by fighter jets as a whole thinking its all part of irgc complex,

Look, a huge amount of bombs are falling on Iran and it is absurd if anyone believes that innocent people are not being killed along side some murderous IR leadership. Because IR reports them and tries to take advantage of the situation doesn't change that fact. As Iranians, it is natural for us not wanting death and destruction for our home country... For sure IRI will use the deaths of innocent people and destruction of our Iranian heritage (such as Golestan palace or Azadi complex designed by farmanfarmayan) as propaganda. We can't be happy but we hope that the pain is short and more good will come from it than bad.
