Inter will surely bring in some new strikers next season. Being linked to players like Jonathan David and Joshua Zirzkee.

If Mehdi does stay at Inter next year, he may be relegated to 4th or 5th choice striker. And he has to ask himself if he's satisfied with that. Or if we wants to go elsewhere to get more playing time in his last few years in Europe.

Yes. If Jonathan David comes, he's in trouble. Isn't Napoli ahead in the race to sign David though? I hope so.

I would personally stay even as 4th-5th striker. Inzaghi gave plenty of play time to Arna/Correa.

He's 33 almost, and probably in his last 1-3 season as a high level player. He should work hard next season or two and then ride out into the sunset, instead of going to an entirely new team when he probably can't even start full time anymore anyways.

IF he feels that he could MAINTAIN FULL FITNESS somewhat regularly, then he definitely should STAY..!
Mehdi is such a versatile, humble, well seasoned and high caliber player that Inzaghi will figure out some way or another to get him somewhat regular minutes.!
between so many different competitions they play so many games that he is bound to get enough minutes, especially considering this stage of his career..! a more withdrawn attacking role/positional change or a refinement of sorts isnt outa realm of possibilities either.!!

all the bs noise from flaky media and ignorant comments from the footballing-idiot fans aside, UNLESS THERE ARE DOUBTS CONCERNING HIS FITNESS, HE WILL BE KEPT ON BOOKS for next season as well by the Real Decision Makers of the club, and probably just forced down the Striker pecking order ..!!

& as is the case for any player on their books, how the club would fair in Mercato this summer will also play a decisive role in their future at the club..!!

this isnt the type of club that you'd voluntarily depart from, but if forced out, then he defo should demand a move to another top half SerieA team and turn his focus next season in making Inter regret the decision to offload him..! (Milan anyone..?, if SC remains and have any say in club recruitment, that is a stark possibility..!)

must hope Napoli lose or get a draw
inter has to pick up 3 points this match or it will all come down to last week

seems like dimargoh and mikhy are allergic to setting up taremi when he's clearly open for a pass or a run. Instead choose to just make a run and give the ball away

As it stands, inter are first place!!!!

Yup. Has made a couple decent runs and they just don’t release the ball to him…

It’s been the theme this whole season

they legit don't give him anything to work with.

He's been average. One turnover (that I can recall) but good otherwise.

Like many have said, they dont pass it to him at all. He makes a lot of good runs. His movement off the ball is one of the strengths.

Maybe they don't pass because of lack of trust on his technical abilities (training and game)

keeps lazio defense leary and preoccupied with him , thus creates openings for other attackers ...!! a bit more confidence in possession would do him good ..!!

hopefully Napoli feels the pressure and collapse under it ...!!
