Good start for him. Solid defensively and creative going forward.

Had another very solid game. Back to the standard he had set before the sheffield game.
Brentford were headed for 3 pts before a totally moronic tackle from ben mee, no need to make it deep inside the villa half.
Then terrible subbing from frank lost them the game...taking wissa off the ever useless maupay.

A lot of Brentford fans saying Saman Ghoddos was the best player for them. Also, him stopping Watkins' celebration is the stuff of legends and will endear him to the Bees' faithful."This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Sky sports gives Saman 7/10. Among the best.
Match report and free highlights as Aston Villa produce chaotic late comeback at Brentford; Ben Mees sending off saw Alex Moreno cancel out Keane Lewis-Potters opener; Ollie Watkins scored late winner against former club with controversial celebration; Villas Boubacar Kamara sent off
