i agree... that is the best Stamina, Fitness and Form I recall him being at since his Ostersund days..!
form comes and goes up n down with game minutes, but Peak Stamina/Fitness is never achieved overnight nor even over short period of less than 5-6weeks ...!! it's something you gotta work at Consistently for 2months or more before appropriate levels are achieved for competing in top leagues of the world ..!
based on personal experience Stamina is achieved as simple as going for daily morning runs for couple of months...mix in some weight trainings every other day or so to build muscle thus become much less injury prone..!
and tbh that is precisely what's been lacking with Sardar for ages now.... its really just a goshadi symptoms.. and with him using small injury niggles as an excuse to lay-off action for few weeks so as to not expose the real problem with them which is their Fitness and Stamina shortcomings during game days..!

Brentford have some excellent one-on-one defenders such as Kristoffer Ajer, Rico Henry and Nathan Collins, but no Bees player has been dribbled past on fewer occasions on average than Ghoddos (0.2 times per game) this term.

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Brentford are screwed until Toney is back

^Big loss. Do you think there's a chance they sell Toney in the winter? Perhaps Mbuemo's injury will make them reconsider that.

Saman making guardians list of 10 things to watch out for in the PL this weekend.

              7. Versatile Ghoddos a valuable asset

It has been a funny few months for Saman Ghoddos. The Iranian international thought his three-year spell at Brentford was over after it was announced in May that he would be leaving the club on a free transfer. By the end of August, however, the winger was back in west London having signed a one-year contract at the Gtech Community Stadium. He even won the October goal of the month competition for his strike against Burnley. What Ghoddos may not have expected is becoming a starting full-back. An attack-minded player, he has slotted in on either side of the defence in the past four Premier League matches and will be hoping for a fifth straight start against Villa. Versatility is important in the modern game and Ghoddos has proven himself a useful asset to Thomas Frank. That could earn him another season at Brentford.

Saman’s Brentford journey has been a surprise for everyone involved, including Saman himself.

life has a funny way of throwing curveballs and opportunities at you. It’s how you deal with them that is the difference maker.

Normally anything is possible as everyone has a price but after this I'd say zero chance. They value being a PL club over a quick £70m, £80m, £90m.

To sell him means they need an incoming forward in the same window. They can't survive on Maupay and Schade with Wissa at AFCON. Besides Brentford aren't a side that buy out of desperation. They're all about succession planning and getting value for money in the market.

At this point. It's a real struggle to work out their lineups.

Pl clubs don't play with attacking midfielders anymore. Wide midfielder would probably be his best position.

                      this really in a nutshell ...!! :/
especially so after embuno got busted..
these two were pretty much all of their offense

when is the expected return date of Toney? that dude aint exactly a model professional, wonder what shape he'll be in when he does return finally..??
what about return date for Brian.?

silver lining in all these is that it gives Sammy a solid chance to extend his proper Eu career past this season... wonder if Brentford extend his stay another year..? you'd think so..!!?

Confimred, he's starting today vs Aston Villa as right wing.

Saman starting again. Looks like with the starting XI that he will be playing as a wing back.
No Jensen or Mbeumo so once again he will be on set piece duty likely.

Very tough game for Brentford against a Villa side that has been in scintillating form. Saman has to be wary or Villa's speed especially with players like Diaby.

Ghoddos with a great tackle close to villa’s 18 yard box which lead to Brentfords first shot on target - should’ve been a goal
