Persianfootball.com – WROCLAW, 26-year-old Iranian midfielder, Farshad Ahmadzadeh, has signed with Polish Ekstraklasa club WKS Śląsk Wrocław on Wednesday.

Ahmadzadeh’s signing was confirmed by the Polish media and club, who announced he signed a 1-year contract with a possible 12-month extension.

Sports director of Śląska Wrocław, Dariusz Sztylka, commented on the new Iranian signing;

“After analyzing the games of Farshad, we are convinced that he is a high-class player and will strengthen our team. He is not afraid of new challenges, and at the same time, he can deal with the pressure, because he regularly played in matches with 70,000 spectators.

By his individual skills, he will certainly be dangerous for opponents and raise the level of the team. We also like the fact that he is an ambitious boy who wants to climb even higher – he added.

The greatest strengths of the Persians are speed, the ability to play one-on-one, and great technical training. He works well with both legs, so he can play both on the right and on the left side of the pitch.” – says Dariusz Sztylka.

At the clubs player-signing presentation, Ahmadzadeh commented; “I am very happy that I joined Śląsk because every football player in Iran would like to play in Europe once. I think that at this club, I have very good conditions for development. I want to help the team, score goals, count assists and achieve the best results.”

Farshad joins the Polish top division club from Tehran giants, Persepolis, and will don the number 10 shirt.
