Nekounam back in training

Loading...Persianfootball.com – PAMPLONA, Iran captain Javad Nekounam returned to training on Thursday following the knee inury he had sustained in Osasuna’s training midweek.
The 34-year-old is still training individually and will probably miss the clash versus Las Palmas on Sunday, but his participation in the Asian Cup in Australia in January should not be in doubt.
Iran will take on Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE in the group stage in Australia.
