Tehran Times  – Former Persepolis striker Eamon Zayed took on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Monday.

Sligo Rovers striker nominated former Esteghlal coach Parviz Mazloomi to be next up.

In January 2011, Eamon Zayed, the Irish-Libyan forward scored a hat-trick in front of a 100,000 spectators in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium against Esteghlal, who was coached by Mazloomi.

In 2013, Zayed reunited with Mazloomi in Aluminum Hormozgan in the Iranian Professional League.

According to the ALS Association, the Ice Bucket Challenge has raised more than $110 million.
