Persianfootball.com – MILAN, Italian Seria A team Sassuolo Calcio are considering to sign Iran’s national team goalkeeper Alireza Haghighi, according to Italian websites.

‘Tutto Mercato Web’ and ‘Il Giornale’ report that after the injury of their first choice keeper, the 17th of the last Serie A season might sign the 26-year-old from Rubin Kazan.

Apart from Haghighi, Sassuolo are also considering AC Milan reserve keeper Michael Agazzi. A circumstance which due to intial false translation triggered rumours the Rossoneri would be interested in signing the former Persepolis goalkeeper.

Meanwhile Portuguese website ‘O Jogo’ report first league side Penafiel are still interested in Alireza Haghighi as well, but visa issues and disagreement on the financial conditions are endangering the deal.

According to ‘O Jogo’, Haghighi is currently earning 500,000 Euros per season in Russia, although only having been the third choice keeper there so far.
