No, the reason Iran didn't win is because Ghalenoi decided to settle for a draw in the second half. TM minimized risk taking and looked happy with the clock ticking. They didn't push forward and test the Egyptian defense at all until stoppage time came, when Iran suddenly created 3-4 great chances.
The plan to settle for a draw will most likely backfire as things look now. I have a hard time seeing any of the remaining scenarios going TMs way. -
I can’t remember which defender it was that could’ve cleared it at the goal line but holy shit all he had to do was flex his ankle. He was more focused on the next episode of BangBusComment
