The stylish victory saw the Southern Tigers collect three important points to further strengthen their position in the league.

Shahab Zahedi did not have to wait long to record his name as a scorer when he scored JDT’s opening goal after Kevin Medina cleverly stole the ball before passing to the Iranian-born player to release the shot to beat Muhammad Azri.

Bergson da Silva doubled the home side’s lead through a neat finish from the team’s leader, Mohd. Afiq Fazail.

While the visitors were looking for goals, JDT punished their influence through a quick counter-attack when Arif Aiman carried out the push before Marcos Guilherme completed the move to produce the home team’s third goal.
