Iran to face South Africa in football friendly

Loading...Tehran Times – JOHANNESBURG, The Iranian football team has been invited to play South Africa in an international friendly.
Team Melli will play Bafana Bafana on December 19th in Johannesburg, as the team prepares for the Asia Cup.
Iran will also face South Korea on November 18 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium ahead of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup which will be held in Australia from January 9 to 31.
Team Melli has been drawn against UAE, Qatar and Bahrain in Group C of the Asian Cup.
Iran flew to Portugal at the start of October for several friendly matches organised by their coach with two of the teams Estoril and Benfica playing in the Uefa Europa cup and Champions League respectively.
