Nekounam back in action in Osasuna draw

PFDC – GRANADA, Javad Nekounam came on as late substitute in CA Osasuna’s 1-1 draw against Granada in La Liga on Sunday.

The 31-year-old had missed three rounds due to a knee injury he had suffered on national team duty but now came on for Osasuna’s goalscorer Raul Garcia, who had brought the Basques ahead in first half, after 80 minutes.

His countrymate Masoud Shojaei is still out injured, but likely to return in the coming weeks.
