Traktorsazi goes top of IPL [VIDEO]

MNA – TEHRAN, Traktorsazi of Tabriz football team went top of the Iran Premier League (IPL) after beating Esteghlal on Friday.

Traktorsazi defeated Esteghlal 3-2 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in front of more than 70,000 spectators.

Esteghlal captain Farhad Majidi netted a goal in the 19th minute but Mohammad Hosseini scored an equalizer in the 41st minute.

Unmarked Ahmad Aleneme scored Traktorsazi’s second goal in first half stoppage time with a header. 

Mojtaba Jabbari scored for Esteghlal in the 67th minute after a huge mistake made by Traktorsazi defender Mohammad Hosseini.

The Tabriz based team kept control of the ball afterward and scored its third goal in the 84th minute with a header by Brazilian Flavio Emanuel Lopes.

Traktorsazi moved two points clear at the top of the IPL table, followed by Esteghlal.
