Persianfootball.com – TRABZON, Iran winger Vahid Amiri signed a two-year-contract with Turkish club Trabzonspor on Friday.

The 30-year-old left-winger joins the UEFA Europa League qualifying participants as a free agent from Persepolis Tehran after completing his medical today.

Left-footed Amiri, who was one of Iran’s top performers at the 2018 World Cup, also had the option to remain in Iran or sign a lucrative deal in Qatar, but opted for the challenge in Turkey and will join his new teammates on July 24th.

Trabzonspor were previously interested in signing Iranian center-back duo Morteza Pouraliganji and Majid Hosseini, but both deals fell through.
