Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iran national football coach Carlos Queiroz said he believed his men have the capability to qualify for the second round during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Iran has been drawn in Group F of the 2014 World Cup with Nigeria, Argentina and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The Iranian fans can be absolutely sure and confident, since everything is ok in Brazil. As you know, we are scheduled to face with three strong teams at the World Cup. It is a big challenge for us. I believe that we have to help the players with our hearts and souls to face the rivals with pride and honor,” Queiroz said.

“Some people say that it’s not realistic expecting to qualify for the second round, but we are free to have a dream. I believe that Iran can qualify and the players have to believe we can achieve this important goal,” the Portuguese coach added.

“We just need the right support. Especially after advancing to the World Cup, we should absolutely perform our plans,” Iran coach added.

“I really believe it and all the fans think so when we advanced to the World Cup, we have the right to remain calm and prepare our team. It’s an important thing that we concentrate on our responsibilities, objectives and dreams. And even more importantly, it’s my personal belief that the fans deserve more respect and opportunity,” Carlos Queiroz said.
