Shojaei assists, Azmoun returns from injury

Loading...Persianfootball.com – ZARAGOZA, UD Las Palmas and Masoud Shojaei kept their chances of promotion to La Liga intact with a 2-1 away win in Zaragoza on Sunday.
The win consolidated the fourth place in the table which would qualify the team for the playoffs, but remain two spots and five points behind second place, which would mean direct promotion.
Masoud Shojaei started and was subbed out ten minutes into the second half, but assisted the second and decisive Las Palmas goal with a good pass.
Meanwhile Sardar Azmoun came on as substitue in Rubin Kazan’s 1-0 league victory. The teenage sensation had missed out last week’s clash due to a minor injury.
In Portugal’s second league Alireza Haghighi did not feature in Sporting Covilha’s 1-0 win saved the team from relegation with one round to play.
Earlier, Steven Beitashour and the Vancouver Whitecaps achieved a 3-2 win over the San Jose Earthquakes in MLS, in which the Iranian international right-back played the full 90 minutes.
