Shojaei dubbed surplus to requirements in Osasuna

MNA – PAMPLONA, Osasuna football club has told Masoud Shojaei’s agent to find him a new club for the upcoming season.With one year of his contract remaining, Shojaei was made redundant and told to leave the Pamplona based club because there was no place for him in the starting line-up.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who joined Osasuna from the UAE’s Al Sharjahin in 2008, prefers to play in either English or German leagues.
Meanwhile Javad Nekounam, another Osasuna Iranian player, will stay and the Spanish club wants to extend his contract.
