emami never been in sidakovs level. just the truth.

valizadeh was good today overall but still so young, the albanian (russian) he hit was again a few notches above.

Nokhodi was dissapointing. Maybe savadkohi would have been better for us at that weight but he is inconsistent too.

These 3 have decent chance for bronze.

Azarpira was impressive but loss to zahid was really just a lack of confidence/experience. Feels bad bc that weight for sure was gold for us with ghassempour.

Russians (some in other uniforms) cleaned up today so far.

Wow that valecia azerpira match was unreal

Azarpira used up all his gas in first half against valenzia. You could tell he was gassed out at half time. He was holding his arms on his head to get more oxygen and didn’t come to the Mat when called. He even got an extra point at the start of the second half for a phantom challenge by US that was over ruled. To have 8 un-answered points against you in 3 minutes when you were leading shows his lack of endurance/experience. But the good news is this can be corrected.

I’d prefer our team suck at this tournament and then go in strong in the Olympics. Every time we do well in world championships the year before Olympics we do poor in the Olympics because the other teams spend tons of time learning and countering our strengths and weaknesses.

Its hard to tell. You can only predict as fights are not 6 mins auto. Right now its one semi fight away from 70 kg final. 61 i done by now and yanks won that. I suggest you take a jog after 70kg final... then put on stream on your mobile if you can avoid spam and have a good adblocker and watch the fight taking a break in your jogging.
