Terrible showing at the U20 worlds. 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. USA ran away with the competition. Khalili and Abolfazl nezhad won golds. At 92kg firouzjaei lost in the last as time expired and got silver. Ahora Kahteri got wrecked in the first match, but was able to make a run in reprecharge and get a bronze.
2 Japanese Iranians actually did well. A gold from Arya Yoshida, Arash’s younger brother. Kayvan Gharedhaghi, got silver. Both were very impressive.

Yazdani got tech’d in the final by the AMERICAN Buchanan. Honestly moving up to 97 was a terrible idea. Azarpira gives the team a much better shot at 97. Yazadani is so physically dominant at 86 with his undercooks. However the bigger guys will give him problems. Also the other move that Yazdani is so good at is the front headlock go behind. He is so long in 86 which make the move so easy to reach the hip. Today he was having so much issues with that move do the opponents longer frames.Leave a comment:

Gold came from Azimi by walkover since Hidlay(USA) didnt show up to the final due to injury.
Yazdani lost to Buchanan(USA) in the final 13-3. Buchanan is the next big thing in 97 right after Snyder. Honestly Yazdani looked as if he has not fully adjusted to the new weight class and at least needs few more months to get to 100%. Dont forget we also have Azarpira at 97kg.

Side Note, Valencia lost his first Round Matchup againt Georgian 11-0.
Georgian also beat Shamsipour in the Semis and Valencia then won against Shamsipour in the Bronze Matchup.

Yazdani will wrestle for the first time Internationally at 97kg. No Kamran at 86kg. Shamsipour will wrestle at 86kg and could face Valencia in the Semis.
Tomorrow we will see 57-61-65-70-74-86kg and then next day 79-92-97-125kg.
GR will start Friday with 63-67kg and the Saturday 77-87kg and finally Sunday with 55-60-72-82-97-130kg.

Ive red today on instagram that the visas seem to have been issued finaly and the Team will participate in the Ranking Series Event. Yet no official confirmation from uww.

Its not a "ban" actually. It has to do with Visa-Issues i think. If it was a ban than UWW would 100% publish a statement regarding that issue and ive not found anything like that so far from them.
