I don't know this guy and his story but the cunts in Iran wrestling such as Dabir or Sourian are true khaye maal.
From what i heard they are not allowed to talk with iranian media outside.
Regarding to Israeil issue. It is pure bs.

athlete trains 2, 3 yrs, dream about competing in word champs or olympics, winning medals, and all end with this shit all of sudden.
This will fcuk a career up. Destroy athletes psychology and emotionally.
This shit of mixing sport with politic with such pure garbage should stop at some point.

Sure, in itself there is an argument. But do you really expect federation people to stick out their necks to try to end the policy? In what world is this possible and what will the result be? Having even worse hardliners taking their places?

The wrestling federation is not the right place to adress policy issues like these.

There are 2 sides to the situation imo. One is that this foreign media specifically is Saudi funded and spent a great deal of last year lobbying UWW to ban iranian athletes from competing. I actually dont mind they put blanket ban on talking to a few grifters who suddenly want to be all buddy buddy after the guys did well.

As for dabir you are spot on. the guy is maybe one of biggest khaye mals in IR system. After ghasempour put his life on the line and performed in truly heroic fashion after being behind yaz in the shadows for so many years, after we had all those young guys make the final in basically their first ever senior comp, dabir explained it as all “kar e ahl e bayt” and said some shit in Arabic.

To me that is like a slap in the face of the coaches, wrestlers, their families who all sacrificed so much.
And the most ridiculous part is, if this was all work of ahl e bayt, then what happens when we perform like shit? Is that all ahl e bayt too? No, ofc not. Then it’s fault of wrestler and coach who were too dumb or ref who robbed us.

Khadem as far as I know in terms of khaye mali is not comparable to dabir lol.

On other side dabir is getting some additional funding, attention paid to wrestlers finally. See new wrestling specific camp, state of the art with living accomodations in tehran. They are close to finishing a number of others across the country too. First time something like this has happened.
