tbh, with Zare we are good for 2 more Olympics , so his only chance was some asian competition or some meaningless tournament!
but yeah he should at least have tried to beat Zare in TM selection! He is only 21!

Not the only time they wrestled. I believe this was for world team selection.

Its not a "ban" actually. It has to do with Visa-Issues i think. If it was a ban than UWW would 100% publish a statement regarding that issue and ive not found anything like that so far from them. Its also no World-Cup its a Ranking Series Event.

Ive red today on instagram that the visas seem to have been issued finaly and the Team will participate in the Ranking Series Event. Yet no official confirmation from uww.
If true it will be Yazdani's first International Tournament after injury and switch to 97.

Still no official confirmation from UWW, at least no written one.
But they added all iranian Wrestlers to the Wrestler Entry Page for each weight class on the Event Page on uww.org

The previous Entry List post from 2 weeks ago on uww.org has now been updated and includes all iranian athletes. This should 100% confirm that they will participate in the ranking series event starting tomorrow in zagreb.
FS will make the start and the draw should be out in few hours.

Yazdani will wrestle for the first time Internationally at 97kg. No Kamran at 86kg. Shamsipour will wrestle at 86kg and could face Valencia in the Semis.

Tomorrow we will see 57-61-65-70-74-86kg and then next day 79-92-97-125kg.
GR will start Friday with 63-67kg and the Saturday 77-87kg and finally Sunday with 55-60-72-82-97-130kg.

Side Note, Valencia lost his first Round Matchup againt Georgian 11-0.
Georgian also beat Shamsipour in the Semis and Valencia then won against Shamsipour in the Bronze Matchup.
We will see Yazdani tomorrow for the first time internationally at 97.
