I'm not watching, but what is the level of visibility for other nations? Are they parading by like the opening ceremonies, or just seated?

Obviously, the US/Euro networks are also going to de-emphasize Iranian athletes and focus on their own athletes and those of Ukraine, Refugee team, etc. The easily tow the line of their political establishment. It's manufactured consent.

During the opening ceremonies, the US NBC national broadcaster said something to the effect of "It's obvious why Iran and Iraq are not in the same boat, even though they are right next to each other alphabetically." This fool was stuck in the 80s Iran-Iraq war for his level of political knowledge. What else can you expect?

One or two flag bearer with the flag, Iran was shown quickly in the back.

People hate hearing this but the “conservatives” (for lack of better word) in Iran spend way more on sports than “reformists” (again sorry for using the expression).
