Benfica only gets stronger (added Kokcu, Di Maria), and not only does Porto fail to improve their squad, but they lose one of their best players in Otavio.

Otavio is the only one with the brains to read Mehdi's runs and feed him properly. When Otavio is out, Mehdi's lack of service is noticeable. If he's gone for good, and Mehdi stays, it'll surely impact Mehdi's performance (and stats).

100%. Without Otavio the center of their team will be even more weak, and more will be expected of Taremi. They'll turn him into a box to box midfielder, goal scoring would probably go down, and then he would lose value because people still think he's some sort of old fasioned striker that does nothing but cherry pick, instead of a gifted playmaker that he actually is.

It's time Taremi moves. Porto needs to rebuild.

#Calciomercato | acmilan , the talks continue for taremi , #Reijnders and #Danjuma . Danjuma can arrive on loan and the temporary arrival of one of him and Taremi would not exclude the arrival of the other

^ Di Marzio is a respected and reputable source. This one definitely has some legs to it.

I know some of you are not Pulisic fans, but lets be honest, he has been good for US Soccer. I think it would be great to have him and MT play together in Milan! Wouldn't it be cool if they actually became good friends?! Who knows, maybe it will lead to better relations, more friendly games, overthrow of the regime...wait, who am I kidding?

^ Haha! I actually like Puli. I think he gets more hate than warranted. Granted, his CFC stint wasn't a rousing success, but much of that is due to the fact that CFC was a dumpster fire his last few years.

"Covid Pulisic" after the lockdown was CFC's best player.

Pulisic is good but he's no Donaldo. Is Babak A (original Amoo Baller) still around? He was obsessed with landycakes

#Calciomercato | The @acmilan is going ahead of #Taremi and #Reijnders and also wants #Danjuma , outside of the @VillarrealCF. Milan would like him on an expensive loan, last year Villarreal gave him to @SpursOfficial and took a 3 million loan for 6 months, so now they'll want 4 million for the whole year

Could Otavio departure mean that Porto no longer needs to sell another big star and could it put Mehdi and Costa moves on hold?

Fabrizio Romano just tweeted that Milan is one of the teams looking at 23 year old Swiss striker Noah Okafor.

Apparently Porto has now lowered Taremi’s sale price to $20M. This is the “bargain of the season” for any top euro team.

Hopefully no English team will take it 🤞🏻

the English prefer to take, rather than pay for, any fine Persian exports

Milan really are being cheap and stingy in their negotiations. $25M -> $20M -> now $15M. They think they’re bargaining for a Persian rug in a bazar, maybe.
