Highly doubt he’d participate in the USA tour. The Visa would be too difficult

I have looked at this before...there are other websites with different numbers. The highest I found was around 30k per week if I remember correctly.

Never heard of this site. Capology and Sportsrac are the more reliable ones. Looking at other teams, I think this site are making most of their numbers up.

It's simple. Mehdi signed a 4 year contract in August 2020 and it's common sense to say there's been no renewal or his contract wouldn't expire next summer.

It would make no sense to offer him a better salary without extending the contract length or at least adding the option for another year or two after 2024.

Added to the fact he was 28 when he signed from Rio Ave, he had a really poor CV of clubs, he likely has a shit Iranian agent who's never negotiated a big contract and the Portuguese league is poor (even though Porto play in CL regularly)... He's more likely on the £3k base salary quoted with some performance bonuses (appearance, goals, assists, etc) added the contract that these sites don't incorporate rather than £30k for the player he was in August 2020, ignore what's happened since, it clearly hasn't impacted his contract.

He is not a plan B, as he is a winger. If they get Taremi they will get a EU winger, they are looking at Isaksen from Denmark. If they had 2 non EU spots left they would go for both.
