Yeah an African team would've been better than a second European team, but with an experienced coach, and some decent friendlies, we can for sure make it out of this group. But unfortunately, we have none of the above

USA was weakest Pot 2 team. FIFA is purely biased due to USA worldwide economic, political and military influence. USA ranked 13 in the world is a complete joke. We have a decent chance this time. We need decent planning. I just saw Maajedi's TV interview who said they had good talks with one team but that is no longer possible. Regardless of who it was, they have been there for two days and they talked to ONE team? They should have talked to at least ten to get two or three friendlies. Right now, they should be talking to all the teams playing other Asian teams (e.g. Mexico, Argentina, Poland, Denmark, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay). The least is Skocic talking to Croatia.

I think you find the English fans will do that. They hate him!

If we can keep the score down to a 1-0 or 2-1 we should do well to go through on 6 points. England are always one of the favourites but they don’t necessarily have great starts and they do underachieve through big tournaments.

Playing in the World Cup and doing well is not just about skills and greater physics, it’s also about temperament and mental strength and being able to handle big stage in football.

This was an amazing draw for us. I literally had England/USA/Iran/X as one of my most wished for groups. I think if we had got Ghana and even Cameroon that might have made our draw even better but the winner of the European playoffs is likely at the same level as these two African teams so the difference is not much.

One thing that I want to point out about this draw that can be a positive factor for team meli is that there are geopolitical implications to these matches against England and the US. I think joomhoorieh islami will want to avoid losing or having bad results against two countries it call sheytooneh bozorg and sheytooneh kochik. So I think the government will be more inclined to provide resource for team meli for this World Cup in order to avoid embarrassing results against teams that have geopolitical implications.

Overall I think this is nearly a perfect draw. If Scotland ends up being the 4th team then I think it will literally be the best draw we could have hoped for.

Finally, if we get out of the group stage, we will face one of the teams in Group A which is by far the weakest group. The only good team in group A that would be favourites against Iran is the Netherlands. And I know I am getting ahead of myself but if we can get out of the group stage, our round of 16 match up could be very beatable.
