Completely understandable. They are shadows of their former selves.

he is there. Just sergio and otavio dropped. Otavio is a bit surprising, not so much sergio who looks a shadow of his last year self.

Isn't it amazing how we just EXPECT Mehdi to win all these awards? What a time to be a TM fan!

^ I remember we were so desperate to even see Iranian players play abroad that Estili and one more chap (motlagh?) playing in Singapore was also "news"-worthy!!!

We have come a long way. But a long way to go also.

Taremi named Bwin League's best player of October

Iranian Porto forward overcame the competition of Sebastián Coates (Sporting) and Luis Díaz, thus being distinguished by the Players Union.

Mehdi Taremi was named the best player of the month of October in the Bwin League, in a distinction awarded by the Players Union. The Iranian stood out with three goals in FC Porto's triumph in Tondela (1-3) and with two assists in the rout over Boavista, in Dragão (4-1).

The striker with the blue and white emblem, with 18.52 percent of the vote, outperformed Sebastián Coates (Sporting), who had 14.15 percent, and teammate Luis Díaz (9.70 percent).

In September, the distinction of best player in the Bwin League was awarded to João Mário, Benfica midfielder.

In this distinction of the Players Union, the best player of the month in the Bwin League "is found through the average value of the scores given by the three sports diaries - A Bola, O Jogo and Record - in the period corresponding to the voting (final weighting of 60%) and the choices of a Technical Committee appointed by the Union, formed by former players Anselmo, João Oliveira Pinto, João Paulo, José Carlos, Rebelo, Tiago Pereira and Tozé (final weighting of 40%)".

Nobody runs as much as FC Porto in the Champions League: Taremi, Díaz and Otávio lead the field

Taremi, Luis Díaz and Otávio are the white and blue players who make the most kilometers per match. The team's commitment to Conceição's ideas helps explain this leadership

FC Porto is the team that runs the most in the Champions League. The accounts are from UEFA, therefore official, and allow to verify that the white and blue players travel, on average, almost 120 kilometers per game.

After four rounds of the millionaire competition, Sérgio Conceição's team stands out from the rest with 477.84 kilometres, three more than Atlético de Madrid, the team with whom they are fighting for second place in group B and subsequent qualification for the round of 16 of the competition.

About time. We've had to carry this disruptive influence for many years now thanks to CQ's faith in him, Daneshmand has finally freed us from the shackles of his lazy, slow, diving target man play and brought about a new dawn of great football we can look forward to.

Mehdi is dead. Long live Mehdi.

LOL. That will be the nail in the coffin of Dragan's career. He ain't no CQ or Renard, and doesn't have the political capital to survive such a move.

                                Good. Gotta instill that discipline.

This is Team Melli e Iran, not Team Melli e Taremi. Ma ba kasi taroof nadarim.
