Lol, he's alright but definitely not one of the best players. He's been average in the WCQ and is becoming slower every year. I rather see Masoud, Ghoddos or even JB at CAM over him.
We can't keep rewarding players for their ancient accomplishments when we have so much individual talent waiting to get a chance.

I guess his performances last month against S Korea and Syria, where he was basically motm both games, should be considered ancient history ... stunning logic

Even though he had that one sick dribble against Syria, I wouldn't say he was MOTM in either of those Games. He looked slow and doesn't look like can play a full match.

I guarantee you that he will go to Russia.. As long as he stays healthy, Dejagah remains one of our best players regardless of if he plays at a club or not.
No way CQ will leave Dejagah out

This. I don't think people understand how much of a leader Dejaghah is. The players look up to him and greatly respect him. 100% he goes to Russia.

Lol dude he was easily our best player both matches... Even 1 minute of watching the game you could tell he was head and shoulders above everyone else. That being said, I agree that Dejagah will not get called up if he doesn't have a club... But its obvious he will find a club soon. Be patient guys..

go back and rewatch both games. He was the best player when we had posession, and contributed well enough on D . He is class. End of discussion

His last two matches were his best form since his injury with Fulham.

I agree that he should be in the world cup squad because he kills himself for TM even if he doesn't find a club.

But if he doesn't find a club, he will last one game tops. He won't have the match fitness for three close games. Even in the last world cup he didn't have any gas for the third game, imagine how it would be 4 years later and with on regular playing time.

If he doesn't find a club quickly, he should just go to an arab team or IPL team just to get some playing time. Anything will do.

Depending on Ghoddos' quality with TM, Ashkan could be a substitute at WC. Honestly, I wouldn't mind it. Dejagah with 30 minutes as fresh legs off the bench could cause some major problems for our opponents. That was his role near the end of his run at Fulham, and he was very dangerous!

Ashkan will not go pp he is expensive and also pp is ban for 2 windows even if he is a free player, pp is under huge debt, with jose and taheri sitituation they cant buy him

At this point, Ashkan will never consider IPL clubs over the likes of Qatari or even Chinese clubs.
