Masoud was always loaded with talent, but even in that clip if you really try to put emotions aside of what could have been. A lot of those sweet moves doesn't really lead to anything. Yeah, he might have beat his player, but he also held the ball and slowed down the play so the defense could reset etc. These type of players need the whole system to be based on their quality like for instance Riquelme, but Masoud isn't a Riquelme so it's not fair.
I do agree that he had one of the best technique level that I have ever seen among Iranian players, and definitely our most skillful and creative player post-AK8
