If Iranian players were to go to Europe this upcoming transfer window it would probably mostly be to Russia. First because I.r and Russia's relationship is growing and second because the Russian transfer window starts and ends the latest so the u23 players can get exposure from the Olympic qualifying tourney

This is quite possible, especially since Mörk placed Swedish NT players Pontus Wernbloom and Rasmus Elm in CSKA Moscow a couple of years ago.

Unfortunately the more talented Rasmus Elm was diagnosed with a rare stomach disease and decided to move back to his hometown to receive treatment and start over or settle down depending on the treatment.

However he helped Wernbloom negotiate a new 3-year contract a couple of months ago:

Hajsafi was always part of the team and never expected to be dropped, KB was dropped for one the 152 defenders that we took to Brasil

He wasn't dropped for Heydari though? Heydari plays in the right while Khalatbari in the left! Khalatbari was rather crossed off for Hajsafi! The latter at the time played as LAM as Pooladi played in LB!

I know, but my point was that Khalatbari was dropped from the final World Cup squad while he contributed much more to Team Melli's succes than Heydari in my opinion.

He scored the important last minute winner in Tashkent and he also opened the flood gates in Azadi when we had to beat Lebanon in order to keep alive.

What remarkable has Heydari done in the entire qualifying campaign? I can't remember, he sucks so bad with his crosses and it has been exposed by several members before. He basically adds zero value to the team other than that he is a ''versatile'' player

Also yadesh bekheir Khalatbari. Tbh, CQ was/is too harsh on the poor guy, he did a lot of zahmat for team melli. I don't care what he did / said. Bendtner does drunk driving and still gets invited to the Danish national team ffs.

Rast migi, what was the problem with Masoud is that he often made unnecessary dribbles which resulted in nothing and were ineffective in terms of chance creations. Still, what makes me like Masoud is his gol kuchik playing style which is why football is one of the most beautiful sports

I remember that Osasuna fans always criticized him because he kept trying to dribble the other players in their own box, and always put the team at risk I do agree that he had one of the best technique level that I have ever seen among Iranian players, and definitely our most skillful and creative player post-AK8

Masoud was smoking top team defenders left and right during his prime time at Osasuna, I am not sure if Torabi can match that. He has potential for sure, but Masoud was on another level in terms of technique. He is probably the best Iranian dribbler I have ever seen, after Ali Karimi. Masoud used to have high football IQ with his vision as well.

I don't think we currently have one player who can school our Korean rivals like this:

Masoud has a better technique but it doesn't necessarily make him the better player. Torabi isn't as good technically (still very decent nevertheless) but plays much more effective football than Masoud ever did, especially when he was at Torabi's age, he always moves for a purpose and is very clinical, he's also really composed for his age. I say that if he moves to Europe he can have a much bigger career over there than Masoud

But Osasuna was on a whole another level as a club back then as well. Their rebuilding now.

Masoud was always loaded with talent, but even in that clip if you really try to put emotions aside of what could have been. A lot of those sweet moves doesn't really lead to anything. Yeah, he might have beat his player, but he also held the ball and slowed down the play so the defense could reset etc. These type of players need the whole system to be based on their quality like for instance Riquelme, but Masoud isn't a Riquelme so it's not fair.
