Getting Iranian players would be very good for the Swedish clubs as well! If anything, Iranians would fill up the stadium when they play (in both home and away games). They would gain a lot of money, for tickets and shirts! It would actually be very smart if they got a few of them.

That would be an accurate estimation, although I can see Torabi in La Liga right away at least getting decent minutes as a benchwarmer. His style would fit the league perfectly, and he has the potential to be much better than Masoud when he was at Osasuna

Yeah, I could see Torabi in maybe Betis, Gijon or Getafe as a sub/project. But he would probably get more valuable playing time in R. Zaragoza, Osasuna or Elche for example.

No but seriously, Iran's U-23 would probably exceed Sweden's U-21 Championship team in regards to technical aspect, but they would most likely still lose. Just like Italy or Portugal in final.

In that way yes Allvenskan is miles ahead of most european countries as well. But player quality wise it aint because every talent leaves early. Like a lot of Swedish talents and the age of 15-16 get snapped up from their clubs (usually playing for clubs in lower divisions not allsvenskan. and join academies in england, holland etc. Like this one kid from my hood left to a BPL team and recently a kid from Malmö, Rosengård same place as were Zaltan grew up got picked up by another BPL team to join their academy. If these players didnt leave at such an early age the league would be filled with better players today. But I would say in IPL we got more quality players talent vise. Not just the iranians but the foreigners as well.

Well, what you have to add to the equation is also the size of the population of Sweden! They are only 9 million people and it's not like their talents go and beg the big European teams to get them! As you say the young talents are snapped by them because of their qualities. This alone talks a lot about the Swedish football in which our players could learn immensely.

I barely know any player from the Swedish league really well except 2 players Martin Mutumba who apparently was pretty big in Sweden and Ahmed Yasin of the Iraq NT who played there until a season ago, and although this doesn't mean anything but based on that I can say that we have so many of players as good as them in our league, neither of them would be special in the IPL, especially Mutumba who winger no better that any average one in the league when he was playing at Rah Ahan.

Mutumba is more of a cult player for AIK. He was a big talent some 10 years ago, but broke his leg playing with his friends and got dropped. Then made a comeback a couple of years ago and won the league 2009. He's currently a 3rd division player after Rah Ahan, so yeah.. Ahmed Yasin was a good player, but for a bottom team.

With that said, I wouldn't base the current talent level on these two players. But as I said earlier, IPL has higher peaks talent wise, but IPL aren't able to nurture the talent to make them substantial.
