You make interesting points but they are based on your own biased perspective. Netanyahu and Trump don't have a scratch because the war was mainly on Iran's land and also their military capabilities are way higher than Iran's. Iran's air force never was really a force, it was planes dating from the 70s, the navy never was much of a threat either. the IRGC invested most of its money in building missiles instead and whether you like it or not, they have been highly effective and destructive.

Khamenei's death in itself, besides the symbolism, means nothing, he was 86 with prostate cancer. His death in fact demonstrated, along with the death of Larijani and other "major players", that leadership is almost meaningless in the IRGC by now, it's a well-oiled machine that runs on its own and has been militarily operating well since being on "auto-pilot", Ahmad Vahidi is just one of many within the leadership ranks.

Why people call this a victory is that with respect to Trump's initial war objectives, nothing was achieved. On the first day, he claimed that within 4 weeks the people of Iran will be given a green light to go and "reclaim their country", that green light never came and the war, instead of being a war to get rid of the IRGC progressively became a war to re-open the Strait of Hormuz, nothing more.
